BABBAGE

Babbage is the vocal chillsynth project of Bradley J Simons, a four-time Juno-nominated producer based in West Kelowna, BC. Since 2023, he has released two albums and more than 50 singles, building nearly five million Spotify streams through spacey electronic music shaped by Tycho, Hotel Pools, Daft Punk, and Tame Impala.

Before Babbage, Bradley spent years as a full-time touring guitarist with bands including Tupelo Honey and Makeshift Innocence, now Forest Blakk, while running a recording studio in Edmonton. That background in live performance and production still drives the project: detailed arrangements, physical drums, guitar, bass, and synthesizers built to feel cinematic without losing their human pulse.

The next chapter brings Bradley to the mic. After years of instrumental releases, the project is evolving toward breathy, saturated vocals over live drums, synths, and guitar. The same nocturnal atmosphere remains, now carried by a voice as well as the instruments.
